Four years ago, a band of brave adventurers gathered around a hearth to forge a fellowship. That spark became Dungeons & Toast, a community of storytelling, leadership, and a love of fantasy and roleplaying games. Now, as the hearth burns brightly, we invite you to join us in celebrating our 4th Anniversary!

Online Friday, March 4 at 7 PM PT

This year’s Hearth of Heroes is more than just a milestone—it’s a call to adventure. We’ll reflect on our journey over the past four years with speeches from three charter members, sharing tales of the club’s origins, its evolution, and the epic moments that have defined our guild. Whether you were here at the beginning, a newly inducted adventurer, or a future or past brother-or-sister-in-arms, this is a night to honor our shared legacy.

Quests and Challenges Await!

No adventurer’s gathering would be complete without challenges to test skill and wit!

Scavenger Hunt – Seek treasures in your own home. Be the first to return with your haul and win a guild t-shirt!

Best Drinking Vessel Contest – From ancient goblets to mystical tankards, share your finest drinking vessel for a chance at glory (and a guild t-shirt)!

Innkeeper Roleplay – Step behind the counter of a legendary fantasy tavern, welcoming heroes, spinning tales, and offering “adventurers the opportunity to become heroes.” Will you be the wise and weathered barkeep, the mischievous gossip, or the keeper of hidden quests?

Join the Celebration!

Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or a newcomer eager to embark on this journey, we welcome you to pull up a chair at the Hearth of Heroes. May the fire be warm, the tales grand, and the adventure never end.

Don an on-theme background Friday night with one of our tavern interiors:

Every Sunday at 6pm PT I (Cody Lillywhite) host a social deduction game and y’all are all invited to join! Reach out to me through Discord if you would like to join.

Details:

• Approx. 2 hours game time
• 5-25 players required
• Remote over Zoom
• No video or board game involved, just talking!
• Lots of variety for good and evil roles

Greetings,

The time is upon us yet again – the time to pay dues. Once more, I must ask for $65 ($60 for Toastmasters International and $5 for Dungeons & Toast) from each of you, to secure six more months of membership. The money is due March 31^st, but as some of you know, the gremlins gather as we get closer to that date. Therefore, I claim no shame in bribing you to pay your dues well ahead of time. If you renew by February 28^th, you will receive 20 XP. But wait; there’s more. I now offer you the option to renew two terms (12 months) at once. Send $130 ($120 for Toastmasters International and $10 for Dungeons & Toast) and you will receive 50 XP (which is 10 XP more than renewing early twice).

You crouch in the shadowed eaves of the crumbling bell tower, breath shallow, heartbeat steady, as you watch the merchant prince below. He sits at his desk, oblivious, a soft silhouette against the candlelight spilling from the leaded window. The heavy drapes stir with the breeze, teasing you with glimpses of his movements—broad gestures, the occasional pause to dip his quill, the careless flick of sand to dry his ink. A man at his leisure. A man unaware.

Good.

Join Dungeons & Toast this Friday as Cynthia reprises the role of Topics Master, leading us through a bevy of inquiries within the theme of “Assassins, History, and Roleplaying.”
