I started playing Dungeons and Dragons with my older brother when I was 9. We didn’t have the money for the books, so I’m pretty sure we were playing off a photocopy of a photocopy from one of his friends. My first character was a human rogue named Zatanna. I seem to recall dying horribly to a Beholder (as one does). Since then, I’ve played a multitude of systems including all editions of Dungeons and Dragons, Mutants and Masterminds, Exalted, and Tribe 8. My favorite thing about TTRPGs is character creation and development, and my favorite type of character to play is the party face. |
