Something In The Shadows
Tonight, Dungeons & Toast slips into the back alleys and candlelit hideouts of the Thieves’ Guild. Whether you’re a master pickpocket, a charming swindler, a daring assassin, or just someone who knows that “borrowing” is a flexible term, this meeting is all about rogues and the art of staying one step ahead.
Bring your best sneaky stories, favorite rogue characters, tales of daring heists, and maybe keep an eye on your coin purse… because in a room full of thieves, nothing is guaranteed safe.

Prophecy of the World-Eater RPG Campaigns
The Bonds Are Broken. He Has Escaped

Brave heroes,
While you were away retrieving artifacts to prevent Ragnarök, the Cult of the Serpent has not been idle.
During the events of Noisy Neighbors, the cult carved a path through Morrvik and descended into the prison of Fenrir, the great wolf once bound by Gleipnir, the unbreakable chain forged by Dwarven hands.
It is no longer unbroken.
Through dark ritual and relentless effort, the Cult has done the impossible.
Fenrir is free.
Now he runs across the peaks of Jormunmere, a massive black shape against the sky. Townspeople whisper of fleeting glimpses along the mountaintops, followed by a bone-chilling howl that rolls across the land.
That howl has awakened something far worse.
Jörmungandr stirs. The mountains that once encased the World Serpent are cracking and crumbling.
Ragnarök is no longer a distant prophecy.
It is coming.
Back by Popular Demand
With Easter weekend right around the corner, we’re leaning into the theme of Clerics—because nothing says “long weekend energy” quite like miracles, questionable resurrections, and asking your deity for just one more favor.
Join us tomorrow at 7:00 PM PT for a session that’s equal parts storytelling, chaos, and divine intervention. Whether your cleric is a beacon of radiant hope, a quietly judgmental healer, or just here to keep the party standing (barely), there’s plenty of room to explore what faith looks like when things go sideways.
And because we care about vibes: don’t forget to pick a virtual background before the session. We’ve got seven options, each inspired by one of the core cleric domains from 5E—so you can look appropriately holy (or ominous) while you work your magic.
No pressure. Just your god watching.
Heirs of the Dragon Weekly Meetings
Year of the Dragon(-ish)
Tonight — February, 20 at 7PM PT — we’re celebrating Lunar New Year at Dungeons & Toast — bring your best “new year, new destiny” energy! Click here to register.
A couple of quick 2024-2025 campaign notes:
- Andrew will run the (slightly) belated finale of Heirs of the Dragon on the evening of February 25th. This is the big one — loose threads get yanked, prophecies get cashed in, and someone’s definitely going to say “Wait, we did what two sessions ago?”
- Tonight’s Table Topics will be a campaign refresher: prompts will revolve around the events so far, and will also help everyone recall the details of their characters (motives, secrets, signature moves, extremely questionable decisions, etc.).
Members and guests are encouraged to choose an on-theme virtual background. Here are a few options, but feel free to search for and select your own!

And here’s a copy of Andrew’s lead-up speech that sets the stage and gets us ready for the February 25th finale:
See you tonight, and may your rolls be lucky, your backstory coherent, and your character voice instantly recoverable.

Irrational Fears
This week’s Dungeons & Toast theme is all about irrational fears the kind that make absolutely no sense and yet still crit fail your confidence.
We’re not talking about dragons or dungeon traps (those are reasonable). We mean escalators, empty swimming pools, clowns, mirrors at night, or that weird feeling someone is watching you when you know they’re not. If your brain has ever invented a threat out of thin air, congratulations: you’re on theme.
Come share, laugh, and roll for emotional damage. No judgment, no jump scares just good company, bad fears, and maybe a Wisdom save or two.

No Shave November
To celebrate No Shave November, Dungeons & Toast is raising charitable funds for myasthenia gravis research. To make things fair, members will be separated into two groups: fresh-faced and established (as of November 1). Judging will take place on December 5th, at the first guild meeting of the month. Members who grow, continue to grow, or pretend to grow beards throughout the month of November are eligible to compete in the following categories:
- Established Beard (grown prior to Nov. 1)
- Fresh-Faced (started growing Nov. 1)
- Artificial (painted on, a wig, etc.)
