The Black Blood tribe is a savage faction of lycanthropes on Moray, devoted to Malar and feared for raiding, bloodshed, and dark rituals. In Moonshae lore, they are closely associated with attempts to corrupt Moonwells and awaken Kazgoroth.
Caer Callidyrr is the walled royal capital on Alaron, long associated with the High King or High Queen of the Ffolk and the political heart of the Moonshae Isles. The name can refer to the city itself or, more narrowly, to the great royal fortress at its center.
Corwell

It is the home of many Fey beings and the larger otherworldly realm most closely associated with places like Sarifal and ancient Moonshae magic.
Ffolk

The Ffolk are the primary human inhabitants of the Moonshae Isles, descended from settlers who brought a culture shaped by farming, kingship, and reverence for the Earthmother. They are especially associated with the southern isles, where their kingdoms and traditions have long stood at the center of Moonshaen life.
Gond

Gond is the Faerûnian god of craft, smithing, and invention, worshiped by artisans, engineers, and makers of all kinds. In a Moonshae campaign, he is mostly a mainland deity, representing clever creation and technology rather than the older druidic traditions of the isles.
Gwynneth

Gwynneth is the largest island in the Moonshae Isles and one of the most important centers of Moonshaen history, long associated with the Ffolk kingdom of Corwell. In later lore, it is also closely tied to Sarifal and the return of powerful Fey influence over the island.
Harpers

The Harpers are a semi-secret network in Faerûn devoted to opposing tyranny, preserving knowledge, and aiding the common good through subtle action rather than open rule. In Moonshae lore, they are one of the wider mainland factions with interest in the isles and their struggles against dark powers.
High Queen

The High King/Queen is the paramount ruler of the Ffolk in the Moonshae Isles, holding authority above the island kings and queens when the realm is united. Kazgoroth is a terrible beast of corruption and destruction in Moonshae legend, often described as a monstrous servant or embodiment of the dark powers opposed to the Earthmother. Its presence is tied to blight, violence, and the unraveling of the natural order in the isles.
Kendrick

Moray

Moray is the westernmost settled island of the southern Moonshae Isles, known for its rugged terrain, harsh conditions, and long reputation as one of the wildest parts of the archipelago. In later Moonshae lore, it became strongly associated with the Black Blood tribe and the spread of lycanthropic terror.
Myrloch Vale is a sacred, magical valley in central Gwynneth, revered as one of the holiest natural places in the Moonshae Isles and closely tied to the Earthmother. It is also deeply associated with Fey power and is sometimes described as the place on Toril closest in nature to the Feywild.
A Northlander is one of the seafaring raiders and settlers of the northern Moonshae Isles, descended from hardy warriors with strong traditions of clan loyalty, shipcraft, and conquest. Northlanders are often viewed with suspicion or fear by the Ffolk, though their culture is complex and not solely defined by raiding.
Sarifal

Sarifal is a Fey realm on the isle of Gwynneth, closely associated with the LeShay and the ancient magic of the Moonshae Isles. In some Moonshae lore, the name can also refer more broadly to Gwynneth itself, especially from the perspective of its Fey inhabitants.
Synnoria

Talos

The Balance is the natural order of life, death, growth, and destruction that Moonshaen druids seek to preserve in service to the Earthmother. When that balance is disturbed by corruption, slaughter, or defilement of the land, the isles themselves are believed to suffer.
Tristan Kendrick is the legendary prince of Corwell who slew Kazgoroth and later became High King of the Moonshae Isles. He is one of the central heroic figures of Moonshae history, closely associated with the uniting of the Ffolk and defense of the isles against dark powers.
