As the Lost Lair of the Manticore campaign draws to a close, we at Dungeons & Toast are looking forward eagerly to next year’s VTTRPG campaign: Warrens of the Harengon! How will this affect you, plucky member? Read on for details!

Changeover Time

Due to the level of effort required to change from one campaign to another (including a wipe of all XP from last year), there will be a 1-week turnaround period during the first week of July. Please do not submit for any XP during this time (with the exception of the end-of-year meeting form) to avoid the possible loss of any earnings.

RPG Character

Characters from the Manticore campaign will be officially retired (though can certainly still be used if a GM wants to allow it outside of the official campaign). Members will be able to create a new character, based on one of 18 animal-based races, including Harengon, Tortle, Octopode, or Owlin!

New Currency: Karats

In an effort to provide an opportunity to acquire currency, all Spirit Quests will soon be converted to award karats (a thematic currency specific to this campaign) instead of experience points. Karats can be used to purchase in-game items or redeemed for new magical items (coming soon).

Adjusted XP/Level

To account for the change wherein Spirit Quests grant karats instead of XP, the amount of XP per level will be reduced by 50% since the Lost Lair of the Manticore campaign.
