We’re working on some upgrades to the Dungeons & Toast inventory system to make all that hard-earned loot a little more useful!
Consume Consumable Items
Potions, herbs, and other consumable items now have a Consume option right in your inventory. Using it will remove one copy of the item from your inventory, so you can finally drink that potion instead of carrying it around for the next three campaigns because what if you need it later?
Sell Unwanted Loot
Got an item your character no longer needs? You can now sell eligible items from your inventory and receive a portion of their value back in gold. By default, items will sell for 25% of their value — but your character’s sell rate can potentially improve through quests and other rewards. Note that some special items may be marked as unsellable.
Inventory History
Your character now has an Inventory History: a record of items you’ve purchased, consumed, sold, or received as awards, along with gold awarded during games.
That means you’ll be able to look back and see not just what your character owns, but how their collection has changed over the course of their adventures.
These changes should provide a much better foundation for making loot, shopping, rewards, and character inventories more interesting in future campaigns.
More shinies are coming! ✨
