Back in 2014 I had graduated with my Accounting Associate's Degree after not becoming an "Eventual Millionaire" since dropping out of college in 2005.
My friend told me that I needed to check out Toastmaster's to improve public speaking, and offered to pay for my membership.
I found a local club and showed up, and my friend did not.
I knew the organization was for me when my mentor dressed as a piece of toast for Halloween as Toastmaster.
Since that time, I have been able to be President, VPE, Area Director and currently serve as Divison Director in Washington State. |
