Backstory |
Adventurer. Spy. Spacefarer. Superhero. Post-apocalyptic driver.
Patrick has played all of these characters at one time or another.
He was first introduced to the adventurers life in high school, when he joined his fellow adventurers during the midday repast for a bit of dungeon delving. Joining this school club may have been the precursor to joining the D&T guild. Who knows? Patrick’s favorite role-playing game (RPG) is the first one he ever played—D&D. When he plays AD&D 1e, Patrick enjoys playing the old-school party healer.
After a lengthy break from RPGs after high school, Patrick returned to them in time period twixt All Hallows Eve and Yuletide, just prior to the plague storm that swept the land. In the downtime between adventures due to the plague storm, Patrick devoted his time to becoming a student of the game--5e--until such time as it was safe to meet up in-person with his fellow adventurers once again.
Patrick’s character class is that of Preceptor of Mores. (He works in an educational setting with students from Pre-K to age 22 on their behaviors.) He would like to level up and help people on a grander scale, rather than just 1:1.
Patrick’s favorite D&D 5e character class may be the Bard, as he played this character class semi-recently and thoroughly enjoyed it, given his penchant for singing at his local tavern (at karaoke night) in the days of yore when he was at university.
Patrick has penned many unread stories as a Fictioneer. He went on side quests with many adventuring parties under the Masters of Toast banner (Toastmasters).
In fact, Patrick made a pilgrimage to the Masters of Toast realm to seek out wise masters and mentors in order to be a better Spellbinder with the spoken word. This he did for when the day comes when dust is blown off of his stories and they see the light of day and are shared with personages throughout the realm.
Now that the side-quests are all done and he is taking a break from undertaking any new ones, at least not major ones, the day when his stories are shared throughout the land may be fast approaching. |
