Backstory
|
Rhys always knew he belonged in nature, talking to the spirits and feeling the sacred places. As he grew older, he learned to be a builder- building or repairing homes for families, barns for animals, bridges to help cross the streams. It is said he has a wife and children, but he is more likely to talk about his dog. He always was pulled to the forest and groves. The clan noticed this, and finally told him to spend more time working with and supporting the old ones, and the clan would make sure his family had what they needed. He learned to talk to the spirits of the old ones, and started to realize he was hearing 2 different types of voices, the old ones and the fey. Over time, he was able to see the fey in the land, and started helping them as well. Over time, the clan started calling him a Paladin. He hadn’t sought it out, it just happed. He was protective of the sacred places, the old ones, and always defended them. He used his size to scare off, and occasionally stop those who were trying to destroy or just weren’t careful with nature. He was able to ask the gods/nature for help when needed, especially to heal the sick and wounded. |
