Stallions and Geldings and Mares, Oh My!

In Dungeons & Dragons, choosing a horse companion often comes down to a few numbers on a stat block. But anyone who has spent much time around real horses knows there can be a lot more personality involved.

Tonight, Nancy Kay draws on her real-world experience with horses to explore how the differences between stallions, geldings, and mares can inspire memorable companions, unexpected challenges, and some entertaining complications for both players and Game Masters.

Because when your adventuring party includes horses, sometimes the party dynamics begin before anyone gets out of the stable.

Please welcome Nancy Kay with her speech:

“Stallions and Geldings and Mares, Oh My!”
